Privacy Policy

The short version

You can use almost all of ProRut without an account. If you create one, we store the minimum needed to make the product work: your login identity and the preference points and hunts you choose to track. We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

What we collect

• Account information — email address and profile basics, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Data you enter — preference point balances, saved hunts, and similar research data, stored with our backend provider (Convex).
• Payments — if a paid tier launches, payment details will be handled by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers.

What we don't do

• No selling or renting personal data to anyone.
• No third-party advertising or ad trackers.
• No collecting more than the features you use actually require.

Deleting your data

Delete your account and the data we store about you goes with it. Reach out through the contact page if you want a manual export or deletion.

Changes

ProRut is in early access and this policy will get more detailed as the product grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
